Amy Harris - Eventing

Hi, I’m Amy!

I’m passionate about eventing and have been lucky enough to share my journey with some incredible horses. My first horse, Bachelor Boy, originally joined us as a dressage horse but soon became the one who started my British Eventing adventure. Together, we progressed from BE90 to Advanced level and successfully completed multiple 3* events. He’s now enjoying a slightly easier life—retired from eventing but still loving his dressage and showjumping outings. He truly owes me nothing!

I currently have a talented young event horse that I’ve produced myself from an unbacked three-year-old to competing in his first events this season. I’m really excited about what the future holds for him and looking forward to an exciting season ahead.

My other horse, Flash, is an ex-racehorse who has taken to eventing with real enthusiasm. This season has been focused on bringing him back to full fitness after an operation, and I’m confident we’ll come back stronger and better next year.

Alongside eventing, I love producing and helping others with young horses and ponies—it’s so rewarding to see their progress. Outside of horses, I also enjoy running and have taken part in a couple marathons and half-marathons. Which I look forward to keep trying to improve and push myself.

Scarlett Starkey - Eventing

I am a 20 year old event rider based at Lyford Stud in Oxfordshire which is our family run livery and competition yard.

I have competed up to intermediate and 2* and I have 3 horses I am campaigning going into the 2026 season. I have represented the central region at the Youth Championships 3 years in a row in 2021, 2022 and 2023 where I have been placed in the top 10 every time.

The horses I have are Terry who I have produced to intermediate from being a seasoned hunter, Comma who is a homebred who is stepping up to Novice and Piglet who is OTTB who is making the step up to 100. As well as my own horses, I also love producing and helping others with their horses and it is so rewarding watching them going out and doing well at their competitions and whilst training.

I also love the gym and I am hoping to complete my first marathon next year!

Scarlett Bond - Cheerleading

Scarlett is from Gloucestershire and has already travelled the world with her Cheerleading squad, winning many international championships.

"I have been involved in sports all my life, by starting with following rugby and then leading to a growing interest in all sports and competing in a variety of sports. Currently my main focus is competing at the Cheerleading World Championships in April 2026. Alongside training with my team I also pride myself with being an avid gym goer, and work on all aspects of my fitness from strength, power, aerobic fitness and flexibility. After recently trying the sports bras and leggings from Eddie King, I have loved not only how they fit but the feel of them. I am excited to become an athlete representing Eddie King on their journey."
